Class Placement & Curriculum

* Students without previous training will be advised of classes available.

* All incoming students with previous training must take a placement class at a level based on past dance experience.($15.00,1 class, $25.00 with pointe class). The instructor will then recommend the appropriate curriculum and core level.

* Students in the Children/Teen Ballet & Jazz Division must take the required minimum classes per level   as stated   by the instructor.

* Student's levels are re-evaluated annually. Notification of class requirements and recommendations will be sent by  mail for the new year beginning in September.

* The progressive levels and lessons in the ballet division have been created to be taken simultaneously with a level above or below, in order to fully address individual student's technical needs.             

* The syllabus of levels 4 and up are presented over a 2 year period. Students will commence to the next level on an individual basis depending of the mastery of technical skills at their current core level.

* Students are encouraged to take as many classes as possible for maximum progress. As with all Fine Arts, daily practice is recommended. Students considering a career in dance must take as many daily classes as possible.
