Performances

*   PBS and Young Artists Ballet Theatre collaborate annually to present a spring performance in which all students in the Children/Teen Division of Ballet and Jazz are invited to perform.
*   YABT (Advanced dancers) will perform more often.
*   Many students also participate in Peninsula Ballet Theatre’s annual “Nutcracker”.
*   PBS holds “Open House Week” for family and friends in December.
*   Students auditioning for any productions or summer workshop outside P.B.S should consult or inform PBS instructors before doing so.

                                                  Holidays and Vacations

Closed- Christmas, Good Friday, Easter, Halloween, Independence Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, New Year’s Eve, New Years Day, President’s Day, Thanksgiving Day + Friday.
Vacations- Two weeks in June, three weeks in August and over the Christmas Holidays.

                                                    General Information

    PBS prints a monthly newsletter obtainable at the desk, online(www.yabt.org), or on the bulletin board. Please read your newsletter and check the bulletin board frequently.
    PBS has an active Advisory Board which meets bi-monthly to discuss and improve all aspects of the school and it’s functions and to assist the teaching staff when necessary. This Board represents all students enrolled at PBS and their parents. Anyone who is interested is invited to attend these meetings and/or join the Advisory Board. Meeting times are posted in advance on the bulletin board or in the newsletter.
    The teaching staff and Advisory Board will always be available for consultations by appointment. Please do not approach teachers between or just before classes.
    PBS is not staffed to provide childcare. Students must be picked up within one half hour after class.
