TANYA BELLO

        Tanya Bello is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College with a B.F.A. in Dance, and has also studied in the schools of Jose Limon and Martha Graham. After graduating Tanya became the Assistant to the Artistic Director of the Martha Graham Dance Company and Trust and was promoted to Liaison for the Martha Graham Trust at the Library of Congress.
        She danced professionally with Rincones & Company Dance Theatre for five years as well as dancing with other modern/contemporary dance companies in the Washington, D.C. area. She has been active in the dance community for many years and was on the Board of Directors for the Loundoun Arts Council as well as teaching  for Virginia Ballet and the Dance Academy of Loundoun. She also ran the outreach program as the Outreach Coordinator for the Rincones & Company Dance Theatre when the company received the Mayor Arts Award for community outreach in the Washington, D.C area.
        In 2004, she had the opportunity to teach master classes in Italy, as well as performing with Arya Theat’art Danza Compagna.  Tanya currently, resides  in Sausalito, CA.
